i found a mice lurking underneath my bird cages today, eating flung seeds they toss, and i totally freaked out. i bought mousetraps to put near cracks in my walls. i heard peppermint oil deters them cuz rodents hate the smell (don't know if its true or not, but i'll try it too). now, will the peppermint oil be ok w/ my rabbit? i know rabbits aren't rodents, but still...anyone know?

I'm not too sure, hopefully someone with more experience can answer.

If the rabbit dislikes it, he will probably sneeze. For the mean time, try keeping the rabbit out of the room where you have the traps and oil. Better to play safe.

I think I would be more worried about the smell from the peppermint oil bothering the birds. Not sure if it's safe to use around them or not...
