I just wanted to announce the birth of Merin's 8 newborn kits! I can't believe it! I didn't think that she had gotten pregnant when I bred her. But suddenly today she started making a nest and at about midnight she had 8 babies! I will post pictures as soon as she has cleaned everything up!

That's a lot of babies! What breed is she? I saw the picture in your avatar. Is she a Californian? My jersey wooly just had 7 on May 25th! She is almost 4 pounds and had one less than her. lol That's a great number kits for the both of us then.

Thanks everyone! They are Californians. I will probably be posting pictures tomorrow as they are not uploaded to my camera yet. Unfortunately, one of the babies is dead. I believe that it was still born. Binky free Baby! I hope that all of my other bunnies stay healthy. This has all been very hard on me.
