I seen an add on facebook for some lionlops and thought they were very cute.

I know they are recognised breed by the BRC, but not by the American Version.

Does any one else breed these? Do they have a chance of being a recognised breed in the US?

Is a lionlop a lionhead lop mix? If so, Mumford is a lionlop!

Lionheads themselves aren't a recognized breed in the US (yet) but are undergoing ARBA (American Rabbit Breeders Assoc) evaluation.

I just read about lionheads and undergoing ARBA (American Rabbit Breeders Assoc) evaluation :)

In the UK, lionlops were developed by crossing Lionhead rabbits with mini lops, but not sure if they use a different lop breed in the US or not.

People say if Lionheads finally get recognized then lion lops wont have a chance of getting recognized because the only difference in the breeds are floppy ears.
