Right now I have one jr. buck (max) and an intermediate doe (adeline). I had planned on having 2 does and a buck, but with Ruby's passing, I'm short a doe. Anyway...
I'm taking Adeline this month, to be bred to Max's father (Wilbur). I know I can breed Adeline back to one of her sons. How far down the line would I have to get before I could introduce Max into it? While sharing a sire, they both have different dams. Both Adeline and Wilbur are also different lines, so nothing is shared on either of their pedigrees.
Could I introduce Max to one of the does from the first litter between Adeline and Wilbur? Or would I have to wait until at least the third generation?
