Likes to hang out on top of her cage

This is her cage. Do I need to protect her feet?

I am worried about her feet getting caught in the bars under the blanket. She jumps from her travel kennel to the top of her cage. she can jump from cage to floor.


So should i put something under her blanket I have to be able to remove it to clean her cage and such everyday.

So any ideas?

If she's not getting stuck, I don't think it's a problem. My male jumps on top of his cage, and it has bars with a blanket over it. As long as she isn't sitting for long periods of time up there, I don't think it should be an issue.

You could put cardboard over top.

Yep, that's what I'd do, a bit of cardboard under the blanket.
