Hi there,

Today we went and visited friends of ours. They're houseburnt down recently (Really really sad!!) and they have been gettingbags of clothes donated to them. Today when we were goingthrough some of the clothes there was a hat in one of the bags thatsaid 50% Angora. Um, does that mean a poor innocent bunny hadto die for that hat? Or do you shave or cut the hair of thebunnies to make the clothes? It just sorta freaked me outwhen I read the tag. hahaha

as cold as it may sound. . . killing an angora rabbit is not cost effective for a person breeding for wool. . .

they shave them. . . like sheep!

yup. . . i think. . .

there are angora goats. . .

sheep? also. . .?

not sure is wool used from llama is considered an angora blend. . .

it could be a mixture of different animal wools. . .

spinners do this to give a certain texture. . .
