JoJo's baby bun died today

Well it finally happened. I thought we were gonna keep all 6 of JoJos and 2 of Boofa's babies alive however today at 9 days old JoJo's biggest baby died all of a sudden. I thought she might of squished it but it was behind the other babies so she would of had to squish all 6 babies :-(.



Now were down to 5 of JoJo and Boofa still has her 2. I hope the rest survive.

I'm sorry you lost the baby... it's never easy when they all don't make it. I doubt momma squished it, it probably died and Momma pushed it out of the way, (and yeah, they look pretty squished when they're dead.)

Keep the nestboxes as clean as you can. Check them every day. And good luck with the 7 remaining babies!
