My male tort dutch rabbit likes to run so i lethim upstains for a while UNDER MYSUPERVISION!But he bangs his back legs on theground? Why does he do that ?

in my limited rabbit knowledge, that's a sign ofhim being upset about something. Ours does that sometimes when he can'tget where he's going or we tell him no or just cause. They do havemoods..haha.

Rabbits sometimes stomp their feet if they arecurious about something, angry, upset or wanting to alert you aboutsomething they think is wrong.

Is it a new area for him? He might be thumping because it's a new environment.

Babii does that too going up and down the stairs but usually shes just telling me 'Mommy dont trip, step...step" lol.

yes, it is a new area for him. I only let him up there once every month!

He is probably trying to alert you to what he sees as danger. Its a way of him getting your attention and warning you.
