This little guy just came in. He's 2 years old, not neutered. Likes to be petted.
I have listed him on Petfinder...perhaps someone would like him for breeding,
if he is suitable?

Oh my...he looks just like my Tio &Kyo. I think I was told they were sable martens in coloring -but I'd have to go back and look. He looks bigger than adwarf - but I can't tell for sure - my guys are NDs but they don't havethe dwarfing gene.

I think I'm gonna go hug my guys....you made me realize just how handsome they are!

Charlotte : If he didnt getthe Dwarfing gene hewould be a bit bigger than atrue Nethi Dwarf , how muchdoes he weigh ? He IS adorable, Honey if I wasnt full up withmore coming in I would snag himup in a heart beat .

The white threading on hissides and feet look like martin. He is really a very pretty Guy !.

yeah he dont really look like a netherland...inthe picture his ears look a little longer then what a netherlands is.But it could just be the picture..so heres a picture of my 1year oldnetherland if you want to compare

Okay....I found the scale! Had to dustthe nasty thing off...it's been so long since I've used it, I couldn'tsee the face! After taking off my shoes, undergarments andbarrette, I sucked in my belly and stood on it.Yikes!!! I better start working out! Maybetomorrow!!

Anyway....Gilligan (his name, until yesterday, was Jill) weighs in at a hefty 4 pounds!!

Gypsy, I'm glad to hear that you are getting Tank.I don't know what the story is but, it must be a doozy! Hereyes look so sad in some of the pictures. I hope this will beher
last litter. Poor baby........

Wow! At 4 lbs., most likely aNetherland mix. Is there any tan coloring behind the ears onthe nape of the neck? (black otter) Ifthe triangle on the nape of the neck is white/silver, then it's a blacksilver marten. The otters also have tan ticking and tannishhighlighting along the white markings.

I think I have them in prder , theres a littlepiece of the whole story in each thread, I do appologise Ihadnt realized we had started so many .

Hi Pam.....Yes, he has tan fur at the nape ofhis neck. He did not appreciate me digging behind his ears,at all!! When his ears are flattened to his body, you hardly see it...just looks like a line.

Thanks Gypsy...but, I'm still confused. I think the gist of the story is lost in the PM's.
