Hello everyone! I'm new here and a relatively new bunny owner (almost a year now). I know my Bunbun is a dwarf mix because he is only three pounds and full grown, but I don't know what mix he is. Does anyone have a guess? Is there just a dwarf mix breed? He was a rescue, here is a pic. Thanks!

Then it sounds like you've got a Mini rex! Like I said, almost certainly a result of a breeders tri-color breeding, since he's got harlequin coloring. He's probably purebred, as well since breeding normal furred rabbits to rex furred rabbits only gives you normal fur.

He sure is a pretty boy. ;)

Really! How exciting! I was just looking at some of the mini rex pics in the forum and it totally makes sense, he is very similar. Thank you!!!

There is a breed called Harlequin.

But Harlequin is also a color name, possible in many breeds, including the Mini Rex.
