When I go to the cottage, and it gets hot (or if im walking him by it) he literally pulls with all his little 10 LBS strength to go into the water.
They don't allow dogs in the beach, the dogs have their own beach thats shaded.
Anyways,
he darts straight for the water, and sticks his head in it, i'm guessing to get whatever is on the bottom.
I let him go once, to see how long he'd stay under (you know..common sense 'when you can't breath..stop?') but he started shaking and choking and STILL kept his head under. So I obviously took him onto the sand.
This is so weird because last year he was TERRIFIED of the lake, and I couldn't get him near it.
Also, I didn't even try to get him to go to the lake..he wanted to himself.

Anyways, my question is,
Why does my dog try to drown himself. :rollseyes
