I have thought about a companion for Willowafter she is about a year old, but like Carolyn's Tucker she is sobondedand friendly and such a mellow bunny with us at 6months, that I am afraid she would resent the addition to the family.

It may sound selfish but I would be afraid of loosing at lot of that affection.

Secondly, I have read some stories of bonded rabbits when one of thetwo passes and the other is unconsoleable, depressed and even passesherself soon after.

But then again, before I adopted Willow I read so much about possiblerabbit sickness and health concens, that I almost scared myself out ofdoing it;)

Edited to spell Carolyn's name correctly.......ooops:foreheadsmack:

I don't think it is cruel to have only onerabbit if you can spend time with and interact with it on a dailybasis. My rabbit, Vash, is pretty happy being the only rabbitaround and would probably freak if I got another. Heexplores, runs around, and gets cuddles and kisses every day.His cage is in the living room, so he is at the center of any activitygoing on.

*Whispers* Plus, I'd be sad if he gave MY bunny kisses to another rabbit lol.
