Crumpet came to us pregnant (surprise!) and Ari we thought was 3 months but it actually 5 months, she is booked in to be spayed next month. We will be re-homing the babies with the help of a local shelter once they are weened, sexed and vaccinated.
We have given the babies names (at least for now): Smokey (brown & grey), Sooty (black & grey), Tiny (small black one) and last but not least Nut & Ella for the two brown twins.
We know that Crumpet is a mini lop/netherland dwarf and that the father of the babies is likely her father; he's a netherland dwarf however I'm unsure about Ari.
Ari was adopted from a family who bought her from a breeder for their children but the kids lost interest and they couldn't properly care for her. They were mistaken about her age and didn't know her breed so if anyone has any advice about what breed she might be that would be greatly appreciated.
I suspect netherland dwarf and possibly a ND/Rex cross but I don't know enough about the different rabbit breed colours/patterns to be sure.
