Insect screen for litter box?

Hello everyone...

I was wondering if using an insect screen over a litter box would be a good idea? The reason Im asking this is because it's made out of fiberglass and I dont know if it's safe or not (I doubt it... but I thought I'd ask anyway).

I should also mention that my rabbit LOVES to chew on things...

If you have a chewer, I'd avoid anything not made of a natural, safe substance.
