Hey guys, my name is Melissa. I am currently living in Washington, originally from Georgia. I am married to a wonderful husband and we have a precious 7 month old son. Life couldn't be any better, but we feel like we are missing a pet to complete our family! We have been seriously considering adopting a bunny for the longest time, but are researching thoroughly before making our decision which is why I joined this community. I am looking forward to learning more about bunnies and hearing about other member's bunnies! Also, any advice to push me in the right direction is greatly appreciated!:)

welcome! Bunnys are great and I love having one, I look forward to waking up and going to see him in the morning :) I'm sure you'd love having one. Are you looking to buy from a breeder? or are you wanting to adopt? or what? What breeds do you like?

Oh, and welcome :)

Welcome to the RO. You definitely have come to the right place. Many here are knowledgeable and very friendly. I hope your get a rabbit soon and that it brings you years of joy as ours have.

Welcome to the forum, Melissa It's great to have you with us :) By the way, we are neighbors...Myself and my hubby live in the Spanaway area :)

I too made sure I did a bunch of research on Buns, before looking to adopt one, it's makes it so much easier when it comes time to becoming a Bun Slave :)

Let me welcome you to Rabbits Online, my name is Dave and I am a moderator on the forum. So if I can be of any help please let me know. This is a terrific website for rabbits and their slaves, not only is it very active but also friendly. I am so glad you’re here and I know you will enjoy it.

Here is some information for you. I have hadrabbits for a long time now and they are great animals to be owned by. Dogs have masters, cats have servants and rabbits have slaves. You can go to the House Rabbit Society website for a list of rescues in your area or call around to animal shelters. You can then visit with some buns and find the one you are meant to be a slave to.

Many bunny's recommend their slaves to this site so we may learn of others methods to keeping our furry masters happy.

If you everhave a sick bunny, please post in The Infirmary and include your rabbit's age, breed and health history as well diet and output details leading up to the problem.

I have listed some links I thought you might find interesting:

*For reference the Library section

*To brag or tell everyone about the antics of your bunny or just to talk about your day here is where to start a Bunny Blog, you can also look back at it later and remember when you had a life before your bunny.

*Now all the bunny’s like talk to each other when we mere slaves aren’t around in the Bunny Chat is the spot to be.

*Rabbits Online also has regional forums , this a good way to find a vet in your area that has experience with rabbits and to find out from other nearby of good sources of rabbit supplies.

The Let Your Hare Down section is for anything non-bunny related.

Here is a link tothat will help you and your bunny to connect, How To Bond With Your Bunny.

Now every forum has rules and ours can be found with this link Rabbits Online Forum Rules. This gives guidelines on what is acceptable, what is not and how we hope everyone will treat each other.

Everyone on this forum loves to see pictures of each other’s bunnies. So if you would like to post a picture this link will help you do that, Upload Photo's to Photo Gallery. Then in the post, you click on the "G" in the tool bar to insert your photo. Many people also use Photobucket. You just copy the img file and paste it into the post.

I am glad you have joined rabbits online and I look forward to seeing you around.

Welcome to RO! This is definitely a great place to learn more about rabbits. I especially recommend our library selection to get more of a general overview.

if being on this forum doesn't convince you of being a bunny slave then nothing will!!! just look at all the pics of all the adorable bunnies and the cuteness overload will just push you over the edge!!
