Have any of y'all ever gotten a comforter or duvet cover from IKEA? i sleep really cold and my mom and sister sleep really warm, so normally i have a electric blanket, but my 3(?maybe 4th:pssd:)rd just pooped out on me and so i'd like to get something that doesn't have electric to mess up but they're all so pricey. and i thought to look on IKEA's website and they have some for $50 and under(comforters) and twin duvet covers for <$30, but i've got no clue as to how they hold up:p:rollseyes. any input would be great:biggrin2:

I have! I just got one when I was in Rome! I love IKEA lol.Well I got a duvet cover not a comforter. Mines a 100% cotton which was a must for me and although in the shops the threadcount of the cover look pretty low once I washed it they thickened right up. Mineis http://www.ikea.com/au/en/catalog/products/50158578it seems niceand durable and it's lovely and soft once washed.

I had this one from Ikea and LOVED it:

It's so warm and cosy. and the right weight without being too light or too heavy. I always had it on the sofa when I was cold, until I folded it up and left it on the coffee table and Mouse and Chalk pulled holes in it and peed all over it lol :grumpy:

I can't wait to get another one though, and the smallest size is a very generous single-bed size. In fact, I know bed sizes are different over here but when I lived in a basement flat on my own, that blanket covered my double bed and kept me very warm all through the freezing cold winter! :p
