Whos mom passed by getting killed by a wildanimal....I have a ? i just got him last night he is drinking from awater bottle but i cant tell if he is eating (his bunnyfood)he is small but very active....he is pooping and atesome hay. Could it be he is just gttting use to his new surroundings?Im not sure what to do

Drinking water and eating hay are goodsigns. Maybe try using a smaller food dish to help see ifhe's eating. He should start eating more food in he up-comingweeks because he'll start to grow really fast now. If he'sstill not eating his pellets in a few days, then I would probably startsyringing him a pellet slurry.

Also, are these the same pellets he was being fed before you gothim? He should be eating the same food so it won't upset histummy.

Can you tell me a bit more info? where did youget him/her? if you can still ask find out what they fed it? 'My bundid not eat alot when we brought her home so we tried a few kinds ofhay and gave her a quiet room with some exposure to people. If she isused to being handled I would continue that but if not just let herhave her own space. A large cage with someplace for her to hide(woodenboxes with 2 openings). You have posted on here before so I am not sureis this your first rabbit, should I give you a lot of info or are youaware of basic care. I am hoping one of the breeders will chime in asthey are used to the younger ones. Keep the water going and read thesearticles. Put a litter box in her cage with hay in it and make thepellets accessable for now. rabbits.org is also helpful. But thesebelow are a wealth of info. she may not eat if you are in the room orit is too noisy. The first 2 wks they are home with you is a bigadjustment for the bun. Use whatever pellets they used and hay. You canwean them onto oxbow which seems to be a favorite on here.
