I just got a baby mini rex bunny, nine weeks old. He is playful, but still scared :) but he's nice! :) does anyone have any advice for me? :) I might need some :) I check bunniez.hubpages.com and it has A LOT of information... but if you have a mini rex, can you give me some advice? :)

Welcome to the forum. It sounds like he is still getting used to his surroundings. This should eventually fade with time

You said you're moving in a few days? This could be stressful for Domino since he's just starting to get settled in. I'd suggest that when you move, you put him in his cage and leave him be for 48 hours. Don't have him explore the new place outside his cage - yet. Let him just take in all the new sights, sounds, and smells in the safety of his cage/habitat. This will do 2 things:

1. It will give him time to de-stress.

2. It will allow him time to establish his cage as his safe zone, his space.

This should go miles to helping him settle in quickly. Too much freedom too soon can be a scary, unsettling thing for a bunny. Taking the above steps, though, should make things go as smoothly as possible.

Welcome!

I agree with everything above. Start litter box training now, make sure 24 hour access to hay, too young for veggies yet but when youmdo introduce start slow and one at a time. Toys for bunnies alot of the time can be from stuff around the house, toilet paper rolls, pop boxes or cereal boxes, old phone books.
Bunnies are fascinating. Be patient and go slow in the bonding process.

Good luck!

Welcome! I have three mini-rex. Is there any specific advice that you are looking for?
