Hi,

I am new to the world of breeding rabbits (not that I am breedingyet :)) and I am planning to make my own 4 story hutch layout. I plan to breed Lionheads, Lionlops or Mini (Holland) lops and was wondering how long (from nose to tail)those breeds grow to and if 15.5" was high enough for them to stand on their hind legs. The hutch block I'm blueprinting atm is 62" high with a 3" leg, 4'6"long and 18" wide, with a 18" enclosed area, a 3'0"open area and 15.5" high for each hutch. These hutches are going to go in a shed (of sorts).

Any advice welcome.

Cheers Foodoo

Well most cages I use are 16 inches tall. And that is tall enough for my jersey woolies and thriantas to stand up in, so not sure if the can get all the way up, but they will be able to stretch. :)
