How long after neuter to start bonding?

I plan on working with a local rescue to help me bond. My bunny is about a year old and was just neutered last Monday. How long should I wait? Is if ok to try if the bunny is already over a year old?

I've read you should wait 1-2 months. I'd wait the 2 months just to improve your chances.

I agree, it can take 6-8 weeks for the hormones to fully leave the system, so best to wait a while until he's settled down a bit. Then, he will also have settled into his home and routine more too

I introduced Clementine with Felix only a week or so after his neuter, initially, and the meeting pretty much just consisted of hormonal humping from Felix. It was probably 4-5 weeks before that subsided.
