I have 3 that are about 2 years old, I think. They are getting pretty big and had to go up another pot size. They started out as the little guys in plactic cones at Wal Mart and now are about 18" tall and 30"+/- wide.
Today I repotted my plants, which is no simple task because I have a lot in the house. One of the aloes has new babies coming up but it has room in the new pot so I left it.
Last year I gave one to my Mom since it was so big (bigger than the ones I have here) but I guess it died off. I'm not sure that they survive Mo weather year round (zone 5) but she had wanted it outside by her garden.
Because the weather has been so nasty I did everything inside and now my two bathrooms and the kitchen look like war zones and I have all the cleanup to do before I go out tonite.
