Horrible pee smell!

I use a litter box with a pull out drawer and put a layer of pine wood litter on the bottom so it’s not in contact with my rabbit. This controls the smell better than anything else I’ve tried! Pine can be harmful to rabbits though, so I wouldn’t use it if your Litterbox set up has your rabbit in the actual litter. Also, the food you’re feeding could cause smelly urine if it contains soy. Double check what you’re using and if it does have soy consider switching to a soy free brand like Sherwood or oxbow garden select.

[ @DonnaHarvey , pine is fine for rabbits, even pine pellets. It is pine shavings that are not kiln-dried that emit noxious fumes that can be harmful.]
