Hiding

My bunny likes to hide under the living room chairs. He is out of his hutch most of the day and does play but when i want to spend time with him he dont want to come out unless i have food. Im worried i dont no if hes. Scared or wants to be left alone. Any suggestion please.

Rabbits have their own moods and will only play when they want to -- not necessarily when we want to.

Ok thank you i have been doing more reading. He is very friendly bunny loves attention i just worry because so much to learn i want him to feel loved and safe.

If he is friendly, he DOES feel safe! Rabbits are prey animals and their first instinct is always to run and hide when they face uncertainty. So if he's not hiding from you all day, that means he knows and trusts that you, a member of a predator species much bigger than him, would never hurt him. And that speaks volumes.
