Hi Rabbits Online!

I've just joined, my name is Amy. I'm living in VA now, but I moved here from Southern Ontario. I volunteer with Rabbit Rescue Inc. as an adoption coordinator, and I have heard rumours that some on this board are adopters that I may have worked with there. I'm still working with RR even though I'm so far away, because I love that organization and I love volunteering with them.

My rabbits are Jack, a female rex cross, who lives on her own and who I have a special bond with, and a bonded trio. The trio includes Abbey, a female English spot, Fez, a male Flemish Giant cross, and Norbert, a male New Zealand white.

My angel bunnies are my special Cappucinno, my first rabbit, who started it all, and my special guy Abe, who I only had a short time but touched my heart deeply.

I'm looking forward to lurking around and learning some new things, and offering any help that i can! :bunnydance:

Let me welcome you to Rabbits Online, my name is Dave and I am a moderator on the forum. So if I can be of any help please let me know. This is a terrific website for rabbits and their slaves, not only is it very active but also friendly. I am so glad you’re here and I know you will enjoy it.

I’ve listed some links I thought you might find interesting:

· For reference the Library section

· To brag or tell everyone about the antics of your bunny or just to talk about your day here is where to start a Bunny Blog, you can also look back at it later and remember when you had a life before your bunny.

· Now all the bunny’s like talk to each other when we mere slaves aren’t around in the Bunny Chat is the spot to be.

· Rabbits Online also has regional forums , this a good way to find a vet in your area that has experience with rabbits and to find out from other nearby of good sources of rabbit supplies.

The Let Your Hare Down section is for anything non-bunny related.

Now every forum has rules and ours can be found with this link Rabbits Online Forum Rules. This gives guidelines on what is acceptable, what is not and how we hope everyone will treat each other.

Everyone on this forum loves to see pictures of each other’s bunnies. So if you would like to post a picture this link will help you do that, How to put photo's in your posts.

This the best site on the web for bunnies and I look forward to hearing stories and looking at pictures of your rabbits.

Hi Amy!! Welcome to RO!!! We have a wonderful forum family here, and I hope you will agree once you become familiar with navigating threads and our members. I should warn you that youwill never beable to post enough pics of your fur-kids to satisfy our need for cuteness. So when you are ready, start a blog for your kids, and post pics until we are dying of cuteness-overload. :D

:shock:Amy, I never knew you joined RO! I also never knew younow live in VIRGINIA either! Well, welcome to RO! :wave:This was one of the websites I was telling you and/or Susan about when I got Marmalade! :DAnyway, glad to see you on it. It's a small world, huh? Hope you have fun posting here as much as I already do!

Okay, I got the hint! Here are some pictures!

This is Cappuccino, he was my first Bunny. He went to the RBB on December 7th, 2007. <3

This is Jack, she is a spayed female Rex cross, rescued in October of 2007. She is about 7 years old now. She thinks people are ok, but other bunnies are unacceptable.

This is Abbey, a spayedfemale English spot, she is about 5 years old. She was my first Foster bunny, and you can see she never left. She is bonded with Fez and Norbert now.

Then came Fez. This is baby Fez. He came from a rescue effort from a horrid meat farm, he was about 6 weeks old when I got him as a foster. Again, he never left.

Fez at about 10 weeks...... the ears....

Here is Fez now, his ears are still crazy and their being so adorable makes it impossible for me to be mad at him in all his troublesome pursuits! He is going to be 2 in January.

Norbie-2.jpg

Lastly I adopted Norbert, another bunny rescued from the same meat farm as Fez, but he was an adult when he came out. He is still very timid, but loves Fez and Abbey very much. He's about 3 now.

Snuggle bunny pictures to follow:
