Help with set up

My bun likes sitting in his litterbox sometimes. He won't be eating the hay or using the bathroom, he just likes sitting in it. Some buns like having that space as their own spot to relax. When I was litterbox training my bun, he would actually flop in the box.

The are eating from the big box and pooping the other side while eating. Then they go back to the cage. Only that they do no use the toilet inside the cage. Btw is the flooring in the cage ok for rabbits mean they are not wire but plastic with holes.
