Mopsy (F spayed 5 y/o Minilop) has suddenly gotten sick.
She was eating fine very early this morning I think and was fine, active, eating well last night.
I thought maybe she was just sleepy but I put her in a her play pen outside with she loves to run around and again she just sat there.
I've put her in a carry cage inside heavily bedded.
Tried all favourite treats and refuses.
Offered water, she drank a lot, did a pinch test and maybe a little dehydrated.
Peeing fine, but she doesn't move out of it. Hard to tell if she's pooping because she is in a hutch with her friend usually, but yet to see her poop.
Laying in a loaf-like position like she's hurting. Weirdly sleepy , let's me touch her everywhere while she'd usually kick me into next week for touching her feet.
Trembling/shivering but no hair up so I don't think (?) cold.
I found a tiny tiny bit of dried blood on her hutch floor where she was sitting but I can't find anywhere it could have come from, yet to find any more.
I have metacam (anti inflammatory/pain relief) and I think I might give her some , what do you guys think?
Does she need an emergency vet?
I'm really worried ☹

I would definitely not wait and take her to an emergency vet.
Thankyou for replying,
since I posted she's gotten a lot better so I wonder if just a tummy upset, so I might wait on it, but I'm watching very closely as I don't know if she's out of the woods yet

With a rabbit that isn't eating or wanting to move, with it possibly being due to a stomach upset, usually the first thing I'll try is 3 doses of baby gas drops(simethicone) an hour apart. If by the last dose my rabbit isn't starting to get back to normal and/or it's been 12-24 hours since they last ate, it's time to take them to the vet as more meds may be needed, or there could be something more going on that needs investigating. Or if there is bloating, true diarrhea(fecal poop, not mushy cecals), and/or there is something clearly seriously wrong, vet immediately.

Thankyou!
I think it was just a tummy upset, she's eating and going to the bathroom normally now :) She almost made me need to go to the human vets for a heart attack though! 😅

I had such episodes with my girl, and the common denomiator that she was shedding at that times - the problem was too much ingested fur. Now I start brushing and plucking when I notice she starts shedding again - she hates it, and other than my boy she sheds every few weeks.

Simethicone gas drops are never wrong, to prevent additional problems or get rid of a gas pocket that already is a problem, also I try to make her move or give gentle belly massages now and then for 10 minutes to help moving things along.
