My bunny just ate a small bit of ivy outside that had blown in from the neighbours i think.

I am going to the vet in 10 mins - is this going to kill him??

Note this is English Ivy from England, UK not poison ivy.

I am so worried, will he die??

Thank you xx

Hello - the vet said he should be fine, checked his tummy for noises and said not to worry too much. I will watch him closely for the next day or two.

He seems fine, playing around hopping as normal and eating fine. Scary though, even when your garden is safe who knows what the wind can blow from a neighbours garden....

fingers crossed ....

It must be a scary thing to have happen. The toxic plant list has several varieties of ivy listed on it.

I'm wondering if a natural anti toxin would help....something like dandilion greens maybe?

Hi Guys -

Thank you for all your help and concern, it is now nearly 10 hours later and he is still fine, but - worrying times! He is just such a little piggy and wants to eat everything he sees!

Thanks again xxx
