Help?! Chocolate?

When my stupid dad let Patches out he forgot to close my bedroom door. I have chocolate cookies in there and he ate one or two! Is that ok or is he gonna get sick?

Keep an eye on him for the effects--gut issues and/or neurological. He could walk funny, like he's drunk, fall over, have strange eye movements--these would be neurological. If I suspect my guys have gotten into something with neurological side effects, I check their pupil dilation reflex--shine a light in their eyes and see how the pupil reacts. If it's slower than normal, it could be a neurological sign.

Gut issues are also of concern, so push the hay--put out a new batch, reduce pellets and veggies a bit--and water. If you have probiotic, like Bene-Bac or Probios, give it. Get some baby gas meds (simethicone) in case it gives him painful belly gas. Other things that help in a gas situation are heating pads, pedialyte (children's rehydration drink), and massage.
