Help! Baby bunny keeps coming in our house!

This is the second time in 2 days this little guy has come into our house. He doesn’t seem hurt. The first time we wondered if the cat had caught him and brought him in but he’s quite big for that. We Can anyone give some advice? Is this a wild bunny or could it be an escaped pet and that’s why it keeps coming in? Should we take him further away? Can we adopt him? I can’t figure out how to post a picture but I just put it in the baby bunny thread.

Some more photos would be most helpful to get a better look. There are domestic rabbits that look similar to our cottontails. A domestic rabbit would need to be rescued. A cottontail is illegal to keep (they usually die in captivity anyway).
