Hello everyone, I'm Liz! And I am so happy I've found this forum. I raised rabbits in 4-H from the time I was in first or second grade, right up until my senior year of HS (although by then I only had my one sweet little polish boy left). When I went off to college, I couldn't stand the thought of my last remaining bun spending his days totally confined to his cage, and sadly my parents didn't/don't view buns as more than smaller livestock, so I gave him to one of the younger 4H kids. (He just passed away last year, as a fat, spoiled rotten old man <3 )
So after three years of college, I was sorely missing my bunny love, and my dear boyfriend happened upon an ad in the paper right around valentine's day... :biggrin2: And now little Anabelle is the light of my life!
Anabelle is the BIGGEST princess/diva EVER. But I simply love her. She's only a baby, five months old. She's just a mutt, I'm thinking probably a Dutch mixed with a something, as she has perfect and lovely light grey dutch markings. She is getting longer everyday, but is still very delicate, and her face looks more like that of a dwarf. She's very naughty and loves to get into whatever she can. Sadly that just landed her in the vet's office with a broken leg. But she's doing just fine!
I can't wait to peruse these boards even more! Have a great day everyone!
