Hi there! My name is Mallory, and I'm 20 years old from small-town Carrying Place, Ontario, Canada.

I recently became a rabbit mum (and my mom a consequential rabbit grandmum), purchasing an 8-week old Holland Lop from a local pet shop, who carries pet-type and some show-type bunnies from local breeders. Luna is an adorable lilac tort doe, and she's already starting to settle in very well.

My parents recently separated, and I still live at home since I attend college locally. My dad ended up keeping our amazing dog out of the deal, and both mom and I have missed the companionship - we weren't, however, looking for an animal like a dog that was so large, and didn't want a cat due to allergies and their general mannerisms.

A friend of mine in the UK breeds Holland Lops, and recommended the breed to me. I started doing heavy research, bunny-proofing our house, and convincing mom that a rabbit would be the perfect house pet. She was hesitant at first, but now ADORES little Luna!

Anyways, photos!

Luna on her first day in the kitchen, discovering the amazingness that is the AC vent.

Yesterday, I put the harness on Luna and took her outside. It was kind of hard to keep up - she's lightning fast!

The result of all that exploring!

Hi Mallory (pretty name), welcome to RO. Nice to see a fellow "Ontarion". I've never heard of Carrying Place, I had to look it up on Google Maps.

Your Luna is Adorable. When I use to live in a house all of mine loved the vents both in the summer for AC and in the winter for the warm air.

Looking forward to more pictures and stories of Luna.

Susan:)

I officially love your bunny! :)

Thank you all for the amazing warm welcome, and the comments on Luna! She has so far been an amazing addition to our family, and has settled in well (even after some faux pas abot being a picky pellet eater).

I can't wait to get posting <3
