Hi, just wanted to stop by and introduce myself!

My name is Ess. I'm a self-proclaimed crazy dog lady, and now bun mom. I got my first rabbit, a Holland Lop named Ted Bunnndy, a couple months back. Ted is my first bun, and I am in love. I was searching for an online community to learn more on how to care for my boy better. Specifically litter box training right now - I'll be reading a bunch of past threads, I'm sure!

Looking forward to exploring and learning more about rabbit care.

Aaahh... he is about the right age for those hormones to kick in. That typically isn't the ideal time to potty train, so don't get discouraged. (Younger rabbits who do successfully potty train can forget that potty training when those hormones activate.)

If you are planning on getting him neutered, it will be easier to train him once that's done and hormones have dissipated.

He was actually neutered on June 22nd. We seem to be getting back on track with the potty training, hopefully. He is now banned from my bed now though. I wasn't a fan of changing the sheets every night.

Recently neutered... it can take up to 6 or 8 weeks post neuter for hormones to fully dissipate. Sounds like he's improving already though.

Here's a link specifically on potty training.
It isn't unusual for rabbits to like to potty on blankets and soft things! Banning him from the bed as you've done is a good idea.
