I've been hearing mixed reviews. Which should I use? Which absorbs better? I've been using Greene Team hardwood pellets from Lowes so far.

I used to buy my pellets from Fleet Farm. They had stall pellets for horses, Superior Hardwood Stove Pellets, and then just plain Superior Stove Pellets. I have heard that hardwood pellets are the least absorbent, but I have tried them all and couldn't tell any difference in absorbency between the three. Now I buy stove fuel pellets from Menards because it is a long drive to Fleet Farm. Menards sell two different brands, but they all seem to work the same.

Absorbency may differ brand to brand so nobody can give a correct answer for that.
Just get whatever is cheapest that doesnt use an accelerant
