My rabbit is losing fur, in the winter, is this normal? thanks Hannah

Is your rabbit an outdoor rabbit orinside? It's not unusual for a rabbit to be molting at thistime of year especially if it's near a heat source ofindoors. We have a couple molting now.

I wouldn't be too concerned at this point if your rabbit appears healthy otherwise.

Mine just had a heavy molt and he'sinside. His face was nearly naked!This was during areally cold spell in our area.

He's still shedding some, too.
