Guinea pig has a cold?

OK, I just info from my friend taking care of my guinea pig in the US and she said Twinky smeezes a lot and sleeps all day, also his food amount has changed. I know this is a rabbit forum but this is a guniea pig emergency!! Anyone here raises a guinea pig? Please tell me... ...Idon't want my Twinks to die!

Here's all the info on Twinks:

• 1 year old already
• Is a male
• Loves celery
• Never got sick before and never sneezed except once when a piece of grass poked his little cute nose....

Just help me :anyone:!!!

Guinea pigs go down hill very fast, sounds like a trip to the vet is in order.

Sorry, I don't know a ton about guinea pigs, but I do know that bordatella and pasturella can cause upper respiratory infections in guinea pigs, and bordatella infections can be really terrible in GPs.
