Hi, I am Daenerys! I am new to rabbits, I got my first one at the very end of 2009, his name is Basil and he is a Hotot dwarf rabbit. I love him to pieces! Nice to find a new forum to join that meets my new interest in rabbits!

I like the looks of those NIC cube cages, looks like it'd be a simple thing to make, and its also re-arrangeable without much effort!

NIC cube cages are the only thing I use any more. I actually modified one for my box turtles and tortoises. And happily, I recently discovered that Home Depot carries chloroplast! :wave:

Yeah, I think Basil is a Hotot dwarf but Hotots don't have black anywhere but around their eyes, so Basil is either a poor example of the breed, a mix, or just....not one. I dunno for sure, lol.

I suggest Target for you shopping. Walmart doesn't usually carry them.

Alright, well unfortunately after actually thinking about the dimmensions of the cage I want to build for Basil, I don't think I have the space right now. The cage he currently has is on the small size now (it was good when he was a baby) but unfortunately, because I live in just one room, he will have to wait until the beginning of August when I get my new apartment with three rooms to get his new cage built. =/

If you everhave a sick bunny, please post in The Infirmary and include your rabbit's age, breed and health history as well diet and output details leading up to the problem.
