Hi there

I was wondering if you could give some advice. : - p

I've got two rabbits who each get fed a bowl full of veg twice a day, firstly am I feeding them too much? One is about 7 months andthe other about 5 months.

I would like for them to just get fed once a day, how do I go aboutweaning them off 1 feed, they get sooo excited at dinnertimes!!

Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks

I would take it easy on thevegetables. Too much calcium is never a good thing. As far as pellets, I give mine unlimited pellets and hay all daylong. Some people do limit food intake, but I've never had aproblem. If your rabbit is obese, then I would cutback. Since one of your rabbits is quite young (5 months) Iwould let him have as much food as he wants because he's still growingand he needs the calories. ;)

What breed are they? The reason I ask isthat different breeds mature at different times. A Netherland Dwarf isconsidered mature at 4 months where as a Flemish Giant not until theyare 12-18 months.

What are you feeding in addition to the veggies?
