I'm sure many have come across and heard of many bad vets, and there's even a website to alert people of them. But I want to tell you of a GOOD vet I met whilst taking my darling bun to be spayed.
He's from Sheffield, UK and is called Rob. I've never met someone so kind and caring towards an animal, from a first visit! My little bun is very cautious of new people, especially after the stress of the car journey, but loved him instantly! I was shocked!
He knew absolutely everything there was to know about rabbits, he admitted to sort of specialising in rabbits! Though firmly stated he is completely professional and gives the same care and attention to all animals. What a guy, I have to say I was slightly blushing (my boy friend found it hilarious!).
After telling him about a bald patch on my little girls left side (no signs of mites) and gave him the details he said that he would take a look under the micro-scope when she was under to make sure it was nothing serious.
Such care and dedication to the animals! So to round this story up, good vets are out there! What nice vet stories do you have?
