Giving pumpkin...

i have a 2 yr old bun i give pumpkin 2....and a 2 mo old mini lop with long hair when can i start giving him pumpkin?

I'd wait a few months until you give the littleone pumpkin. It has a lot of water and my vet says it acts asa bit of a laxative. Wait until after he's used to normalleafy green veggies like parsley or romaine.

I don't start introducing veggies till at least6 months of age, sometimes longer depending on the rabbit and how theirtummy is. And then I would start with romaine and see how they handleit, then introduce other veggies slowly.

What kind of pumpkin do you use, is it the pie filling kind? Sorry for kinda changing the subject but I was always curious:?

Not the pie filling stuff, but the 100% purecanned pumpkin. They're usually next to each other in thestore. My buns love it!
