giving Georgie rescue remedy before nail trimming?

Getting Georgie's nails trimmed is a rather life-threatening endeavor (FOR ME!). He bites and claws and will do anything and everything to stop me from trimming his nails. I've tried giving him a treat after every nail and it didn't work. I found this rescue remedy stuff online (http://www.rabbitshop.com/rescueremedy.html) and wanted to see if anyone has used it and if it worked at all.

Never have....never will. Remember Granny from the Beverly Hillbillies and her "rhumatiz" medicine? This stuff is 27% alcohol. In my opinion, that is not calm...it's drunk. No thanks.
