Please help my 9 month old Netherland dwarf has been having over grown incisior problems for awhile. Two weeks ago he went to have it filed but it fell out. He stopped eating his pellets a few days before so I was giving oxbow, a few days later he started showing signs of gi stasis, stayed in vets for 3 days was still having good and bad days eating and drinking but back pooing. A week later struggling to get oxbow into him, stubborn bun, he will only eat hay and veg. Vets have taken him in they have managed to get the oxbow in him. Vet said it could be EC as he had it at Christmas, she can not see anything wrong with him. She says blood tests could show lukemia or an infection. I'm so worried I don't want him to have lukemia

I'm not sure what EC has to do with the current issue. If a tooth fell out then it sounds like a dental issue, possibly a dental infection bun not necessarily. Your bun will probably need head xrays and a thorough dental exam to try to determine what's going on with the teeth. If your current vet isn't an experienced rabbit vet, I would suggest trying to find a good rabbit vet if at all possible.

She is an exotics vet, best in the country, two vets have looked at his mouth, and can't see anything wrong, they said there could be an infection at the root. He started antibiotics yesterday. I'm so worried
