I walked to.... I Swear by [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SnYESenjoGY&playnext=14&playnext_from=QL]All 4 One[/ame] and the first dance was [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VSZdgu58DRA]Everything I Do byBryan Adams[/ame]

We got married at the court house, as my parents were out of town, and his live in the opposite end of the State, so it was just the two of us. "OUR" song is When you say nothing at all, by Allison Krauss

I was piped in with bagpipes and out first dance was meant to be Elton Johns your song but seeing as Bruce's best man was useless we got some sort of scottish waltz :?never mind our first night of our honeymoon they sang your song so we got it in the end :D

We danced to Heaven by Bryan Adams. (Had that part planned since I was a teenager!)

And we were piped out of the ceremony, and into the reception, with bagpipes

ok, thanks for letting me say that. i'm gonna snaek off now and pretend i wasn't here:D

I knew those would be my songs since the first time I heard them. My mom joked about it at the wedding. :biggrin2:

I love "I swear"! ug such a good song. I cant believe I didnt have that at my wedding. So many good songs out there though, it was hard to choose.

I walked down the aisle to "Angel Standing By" Jewel
Then once married we walked back down the aisle together to "I Believe (When I Fall In Love It Will Be Forever)" Stevie Wonder
Our first dance song was "Cant Take My Eyes Off Of You" Morten Harket

I'm no longer married, but was once. ;) I had picked out our first dance for the night, "Can't Help Falling In Love" by Elvis. Somehow though, the dj got things mixed up and when we arrived at the reception hall he was already playing it and the song was half over. (LOL...I made him play it again though, once we were ready to get up and dance.)

For me and Rick it was *Here and Now* by Luther Vandross and for our 10 year Wedding Anniversary it was *When You Say Nothing At All* By Allison Krauss and Union Station..which is funny.. cause by the end of our marriage.. I was praying for him to be a mute..

For me and Squidz.. we have 2 songs.. *Bless the Broken Road* By Rascal Flatts, and *Just Might Make Me Beleive* by Sugarland..not sure where they will be incorporated into the ceremony..

I think.. now that I think about it.. Bless the Broken Road is gonna be my walkin' song..

But... to steal a song from a friend.. our first dance song is.. Etta James... "At Last"

Listen to this song and tell me if it is NOT perfect..

Oy this is bad - I can't remember! How romantic am I...

I think Tom & I walked down the aisle to Mendelssohn's Wedding March - when I did a search for it, I found[ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pqsFvz1bWFk] this You Tube video [/ame]- guys, check it out you're gonna crack up!! What people will do on You Tube..

I do remember the song we danced to: Something that We Do by Clint Black. I love this song and it really was Tom and myself - we aren't comfortable saying how we feel, but we show it every day.

I danced with my father to "Edelweiss" - it was beautiful. I was so freaked out at the father/daughter dance, so I picked a song that was short. Plus, The Sound of Music was always a special movie for us; it was fitting to have that song for us.
When we danced, the whole place exploded with applause (talk about being nervous!). It was amazing.

For the girls who aren't married - dance with your dad. I know a few people who didn't do it. When you don't have them anymore, it is a special memory that you'll cherish forever. Edelweiss is even more special now for me.

I've wanted to dance at my wedding to I Don't Wanna Miss A Thing - Aerosmith since I first heard it.

My walking in song would probably have to be Stairway To Heaven.

I'm a rock chick at heart.

That was what we danced to with our parents (we did our father/daughter & mother/son dance at same time). Just keep in mind that is a LONG song!!! I wish I would of had the DJ cut it a bit short. hahaha. My dad was getting impatient!

My hubby and I got married by a Justice of the Peace in our home right after we bought it. We were young and didnt have any money, hey we are older and still dont have any money some things never change i guess, lol. WE didnt do your traditional stuff like dance and song.

But if we ever renew our vows and have a wedding again we will dance to Allan Jackson's Remember When. I love that song , it is about people who have spent a long time together and it just fits.
