I didn't think I would ever like goats but we got our first one for our 2 year old. He loves feeding animals and believe it or not he is more responsible about it then most grown people. We wanted something close to his size (so we got the dwarfs) that was a little more rugged, after all he is only 2. And then I fell in love and bought 2 more.
Cole goes out to the goat pen every morning and lets the goats out for their grazing time and goes with me every evening to feed (he likes to carry the feed), water, and put them away for the night. He helps me brush and bathe them too. He's a regular little Farmer Brown.
I wont be happy till I have at least 10 of the little buggers (goats not kids-5 kids is enough) running around our 6+ acres.
