Sorry if I chose the wrong thread.
I'm wondering how you handle feeding a bonded pair and make sure one does not eat more then they should and the other gets little to nothing. Any info or suggestions on feeding a bonded pair would be great. Thanks.

I've never had an issue with that. My pairs only get 1/4 cup of pellets per day, so when they are fed them, they both eat out of the same bowl at the same time. Hay is always available. They treat the greens the same as pellets - both eat at the same time.

I use a wide, low bowl to feed my pair their pellets and they can easily fit their faces in simultaneously. I also hand feed them some of their pellets so I can bond with them and as a reward for doing certain tricks so that helps me know who is getting pellets. They're good about sharing their salad and they have access to hay all the time so I'm never worried about one of them eating all the hay.
