Hello,
I am new here and have only been breeding lionhead rabbits for a year. I recently bought a new rabbit and when she became old enough to breed, I bred her to a beautiful pure bred lionhead buck. 31 days later she gave birth to 2 HUGE baby bunnies. Skip about 3 weeks back to today and these babies are enormous. I am getting a little worried because they have not hopped yet, just crawled. Is there something wrong with these babies? I was told their mom is a lionhead and she weighs about 4lbs. I will attach a picture of the mom and her brother together (They look alike), a picture of the 2 babies (white, one w/ grey/black), the 2 babies dad (VM blue), and a picture of a lion lop baby the same age (Broken brown)

thanks in advance!

How did this litter turn out by now?
They are still a little bit bigger. Normally I can free feed during the entire pregnancy without a problem, but this mama is a BIG EATER and I think she ate too much. I am limiting her feed this time and will hopefully have more decently sized kits.

Well, 2 is a very, very small litter, so they would get fed well anyway. Keep checking how the spine of the doe feels like, that's the easiest way for me to tell if a doe is eating too much and gets fat.
