Family who lost everything.

There is a family in a city not far from me who has lost everything due to a house fire. They have helped many animals through fostering and kennel rescues. They lost 3 of their foster dogs in the fire that took their house and have 1 of the 3 remaining dogs in ICU. If anyone can help them please do. Every little bit will help.

wow, poor family! how come they didn't have insurance? I thought homeowner's insurance was something you HAD to have, like car insurance? I chipped in a little bit to help out.
