Hi everyone!
I think my bun Layla is having a false pregnancy. She has pulled lots of fur out and made a nest out of it and the hay in her cage. When she is out of her cage she has this mad look in her eyes, and is running around trying to find anything in my room she can add to her nest.
My male bun Rodney was neutered around 2 months before I got her, and she also had one month quarantineafter I gother so I would not thinkthere was any way she couldreally be pregnant. Also, during their bonding sessions, it has always been her humping him and never the other way around.
I think she is around 4 months of age (not sure as I didn't know her age when I got her), is this a common age for the start of false pregnancies?
I have read some previous threads about false pregnancy, but was just wondering if there was anything I should be doing to make her more comfortable during this time?
Thanks for taking the time to read this,
Eve
