Fair Food

Our local fair started last Friday. I look forward to "Fair Food" every year.

I had the following this year:

Grilled chicken on a stick

Chocolate covered frozen bananas

Saratoga Chips

What are your favorites?

Never been to a fair, but I go to the drags once a month and they have fair type food there.

I love hotdogs (I guess what you call corndogs), candyfloss, little tubs of chips drenched in tomato sauce (um, fries and ketchup?), american hotdogs (sausage in a bun with mustard and onions etc).

Now I'm hungry :grumpy:

I don't know what most of the foods you're talking about are :?..but I don't like those types of food really..Candy Floss (Cotton Candy to you) makes me sick, and I couldn't even look at a Hotdog. :yuck:rofl:

Yes, that's what we call them.

Funny thing too, a guy I was talking to here at work said that he had what is an italian sausage in the fried breading and it was called a Horndog:shock:.

I was so upset this year. I left my daughter in one line and told her to get me a chicken on a stick while I went and got what she wanted.

What she came back with had chicken, pickles (yuk!), and onions, battered and deep fried. DISGUSTING!!! $7 right in the trash.

Then I had to go find a REAL chicken on a stick (the grilled kind).

My hubby couldn't go, but made me promise to bring him back a turkey leg. Those things are HUGE!

Our chicken on a stick is breaded and has a jalapeno on top. mmmmmmmmmmmm!

I discovered the nasty breaded one was called a Cajun chicken on a stick. I had to go to the place that does the turkey legs to get the chicken I wanted.
