Eating fur vs building a nest?

Hi guys,

Thumper has done the routine pulling hair out of dewlop to build a nest, but I've never seen her in the act. Right now shes sitting at my feet, pulling out her fur all over her body and it looks like she's eating it?? I don't see her bringing it anywhere or taking hay or my socks or kleenex.. she used to do that. I pulled some out of her mouth and watched her reaction. She just kept pulling out more fur. So I put the hair back in front of her, and again she's wolfing it down. I'm really worried.. should I be? She just sits there with the fur in her mouth.

Nope, she's my only rabbit. Afterwards she just sat at my feet again and groomed herself rather than pulling her hair out..

I'm perplexed :?
