Birthday our Flemish Giant seems to have an earinfection - its red inside. My ex is a dentist and she can prescribestuff for him.

On a brighter note - last week at the Fiesta Del PLaya (beach) they hadthe annual chihuahua races. Because Birthday happened to be with us andbecause the fair administrator is a friend he was invited to raceagainst the dogs. Fifi the grand state champion from Austin TX actedlike "no problem".

In the first heat Birthday whos bigger than any of the dogs got out toa great lead. At the 2/3rds mark he was well ahead in first place-perhaps by as much as 3 flemish giant lengths. At that point however hediscovered some tasty weeds on the side of the track. He finished last.

Anyway barring this ear infection theres always next year and my kidswillbe sure to clear the track and maybe leave out a few of those bbqturkey legs they sell so the doggies wont get hungry during therun----lol

ok ok ear infection advice please!

Take him to a vet. Rabbits can besensitive to medications, even those for cats and dogs. Also,if it is infected you should have it cultured to determine whatbacteria it is and what antibiotics it will be sensitive to_Otherwise, you could be giving him a useless medication.
